One could say that Every Monday sort of began at birth. Cousins and best friends throughout thier lives. Patrick and Michael have played together pretty much since they began to learn instruments. As the years went by countless demo tapes, gaps between practices and a "this just doesn't feel right" vibe made things hard to come to fruition. Until one day Mike picked up playing the drums again after years of switching to the bass. That seemed to do the trick ...

Officially, the birth of Every Monday would have to be in the early summer of 2001. After a drum set was aquired, work began on their first full-length CD, "Mistakes were probably made". The rest they say is history.
